After having headed east with its shoving platform (a former caboose) leading, BNSF Railway train R-CAL0081-05I, one of the many locals that originate at the railway’s La Mirada Yard, was heading west once again after dropping off two covered hoppers (and picking up three others) somewhere around Atwood. A pair of GP60Ms, 149 and 141 (formerly Santa Fe units with the same numbers), are pulling this local on the BNSF’s San Bernardino Sub. (Placentia, California – March 5, 2021)
