| The #5 California Zephyr has a hard time of it today. After it left Denver Union Station it was stopped for 3 hours in Arvada, Colorado while track crews fixed a faulty switch. It then encountered deep snow drifts from a huge storm that pounded the state with three feet of snow, and eventually had to turn back to Denver due other mechanical issues. |
