My dad captured a rare occurrence here. A hotshot Southern Pacific train is running on the Union Pacific, ex Western Pacific (Shafter Subdivision). My assumption is the Southern Pacific Causeway is shut down for repairs, coming out of the flood years. Four 20 cylinder growlers are up front, SD45's. The Kennacott copper smelter is the backdrop.
