Arizona Eastern's morning job lifts a heavy cut of cars around the horseshoe curve after just exiting Tunnel 5 on the 2.12 percent climb out of Clifton. The train is made up of Copper concentrate for the Freeport McMoran smelter in Globe AZ, boxcars of heavy copper anodes and empty tank cars. The train is crossing a large fill that was the site of a 1900 bridge failure. This railroad and surrounding area are filled with Wild West history and scenery straight out of some old western movie.....
