Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 leads a passenger special, along with Northern No. 844, through wide open Wyoming countryside just west of Thayer on May 5, 2019. The passenger train is headed to Utah, in “The Great Race to Ogden” for a 150th anniversary celebration of the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad and Golden Spike.
