Remarks & Notes
A 5 year old Siemens built Amtrak Sprinter races north past Marcus Hook, PA, bound for Philadelphia. The "station" has changed little over the years, but the surroundings have. Long gone is the large Sunoco refinery which once stood here, to the right (as seen here back in 2011), as well as Amtrak's AEM-7's, replaced by Sprinters between 2014 and 2016. The original station was nothing fancy, a small building that once existed on the opposite side of the tracks. Today, the station serves only SEPTA commuter trains, some of which terminate here rather then continue on towards Claymont, DE, and eventually Wilmington, or even Newark.

Since 2010 Pennsylvania got an upgraded Keystone Corridor as Siemens ACS-64 Charger locomotives replaced the venerable AEM-7.
