| On a quiet and cool spring night, the only sounds that can be heard is the occasional passing automobile and the deer stomping the leaves in the nearby woods. With the signal indicating a clear, it is a sure sign that there will be a train approaching. Soon the crossing bell begins to ring and the local job rounds the bend, breaking the silence and lights the way as it continues westbound under a waxing crescent moon high in the sky. |
