The 13 kilometer long Waldenburgerbahn (WB) between Liestal and Waldenburg, since 2016 part of the Baselland Transport AG (BLT), was the only 75 cm (2.46 foot) gauge railway of Switzerland. From april 6th 2021 till the end of 2022, the line will be rebuilt and converted to 1 meter gauge. Railcar BDe 4/4 # 13 "Höstein" (built in 1986 by SWS, SIG and BBC) with two cab cars Bt is leaving Waldenburg as train 3167 to Liestal, a 23 minutes trip, while railcars BDe 4/4 # 16 and # 14 coupled with cab cars are standing in front of the shed. The WB had 7 of this railcars and 10 cab cars. All vehicles were sold to the Čiernohronská železnica (Schwarzgranbahn) in Slovakia, where they should run after electrification of the line, from 2025, maybe.
