With about a minute of sunlight left, CSX ES44AH 856 and CW44AH 321 are seen on the point of empty hopper train U050, which is dropping down the Stony River Subdivision's loops into Bayard, WV. This train is making its way from the Mount Storm Power Plant to Leer Mine in Grafton. Once the site of a large Island Creek coal company facility, this section of the former Western Maryland is now a lonely piece of railroad, meandering around reclaimed mountains and valleys that are a testament to what once was.
