| A pair of CMQ “barns” handle a ballast train from the Fisher Wavy Quarry with some mixed freight tacked on in Sudbury. In a bid to find a scene that didn’t look like a forest in Quebec, the searchlight guarding the south siding switch at Mactier, water tower and granite so characteristic of Muskoka are pictured here. Since being relegated to secondary service with their predecessor, these two are sure looking grimy compared to the tip-top shape CMQ kept them in. |
