Through the years, I've managed to shoot all kinds of pan shots - steam pans, diesel pan, MU pans, zoom pans, night pans, and even pans in the rain. Heck, I even have reflection pans. Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
