| DA 1431 and 1410 lead special train J02 north through Gore. The train has just completed a trip down to Invercargill and is now on its return journey home. This train created a large interest with plenty of people out chasing it trying to get their photos as these old locos never visited the bottom of the South Island back when they were the common power for New Zealand Railways in the late 1950s - 1970s. |
