Remarks & Notes
Now, the world unique turntable with 3 crossing standard gauge rack-tracks (Riggenbach cogwheel system) of the Rigi Bahnen, developed by the engineer Theo Stolz, is finished. In addition to turning short vehicles, runs of longer trains (such as the newly ordered articulated railcars) are possible via the turntable (without turning it) on various routes between station tracks 1 and 2 (foreground right) and depot tracks 1, 2 and 3 (left side). For the transfer of short vehicles from and to the depot tracks 4 to 8, the straight track is used with turning the turntable.
