| DE30AC locomotives 409 and 423 bracket the DOTX #221 which is an automated track inspection car dispatched by the Federal Railroad Administration. This classy looking car was built in 1954 as Canadian National #1083, "Cape Brule" which was a sleeper and buffet lounge car. Here, she is seen rolling swiftly through Beth Interlocking bound for Greenport, NY on its first day of touring the LIRR system. |
