| About hour ahead of their designated schedule time from South Seattle, this hotshot Chicago bound Z-train makes good time rumbling down the Aurora Sub. The train passes thru Lynxville on main #1 as they chase down a grain train on a race to the end of double track at CTC Crawford. The train will be in Savanna in 2'-10" from now and 110 miles closer to Chicago. The Mississippi River has begun its spring thaw in many places, but here at Lynxville things are still pretty frozen on the main channel. |
