| I headed out on 2/15 in hopes for more drift action. 337 and 703 left Dubuque after sunrise on this bitterly cold day. The low at sunrise was around -15 with wind chills well above the -30's. Unfortunately the 337 was big and heavy and didn't give much action, and plus they had crappy BNSF power. Behind them U703 kicks up some snow as they pass thru the old Beth siding location with an empty bound for western Iowa. 4 CN's for power, something not easily seen much this winter. |
