This day, there was organized a large "parade" of 11 trains between Rigi Staffel and Rigi Kulm, to celebrate the 150 years anniversary of the Rigi Bahnen, or more precisely the first cogwheel mountain railway from Vitznau to Rigi Staffelhöhe, inaugurated on may 21th 1871. Between Rigi Staffel and Rigi Kulm, the tracks of the former Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (VRB) and of the Arth-Rigi-Bahn (ARB), are running parallel. From Arth-Goldau came electric cogwheel snowblower locomotive He 2/3 # 8 from 1930, shoving two flat cars. One is transporting the 6,5 ton steamlocomotive "Ticino", one meter gauge and built in 1889 by Jung/Germany. On the other track is electric cogwheel locomotive He 2/2 # 18 from 1938, shoving "Belle Epoque" parlor cars # 10 and # 11.
