This day, there was organized a large "parade" of 11 trains between Rigi Staffel and Rigi Kulm, to celebrate the 150 years anniversary of the Rigi Bahnen, or more precisely the first cogwheel mountain railway from Vitznau to Rigi Staffelhöhe, inaugurated on may 21th 1871. Between Rigi Staffel and Rigi Kulm, the tracks of the former Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn (VRB) and of the Arth-Rigi-Bahn (ARB), are running parallel. From Arth-Goldau came electric cogwheel railcar BDhe 4/4 # 15 from 1982, shoving low loader car X # 105 with a vintage "FBW" truck (well known former swiss truck and bus constructor) of the Kennel company in Goldau, full loaded with briquettes. On the other track is cogwheel railcar Bhe 2/4 # 4 from 1953 in the MIGROS Zentralschweiz (large retailer) publicity paint scheme, shoving the snow plow X # 102. During the last night, there fall about 2 inches of snow on the top of the mountain.
