A pair of Union Pacific 3GS21B genset locomotives, UPY 2743 and 2740, have backed the animal cars from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus train under the 57 Freeway and down the railroad’s Marlboro Branch to unload the elephants, horses, tigers and other animals at the Honda Center, where the circus will be performing. These engines are six-years-old and, amazingly, still graffiti-free! (Anaheim, California – July 24, 2013). Click HERE to see elephants being unloaded from this train.
