Tanfield's newest locomtive 0-6-0 tank engine Horden is being used for revenue service for the first time today. 9 years ago this locomotive was deemed a write off but hard work by the volunteers got it into running order despite numerous setbacks which included the theft of all its brass fittings. These were replaced at a cost of £20,000, many being hand made and this fine sight , as it leans through Enginemans Curve is a tribute to all those long hours of endeavour
