The Southern California Railroad Museum (formerly the Orange Empire Railroad Museum) has assembled a nice collection of diesel locomotives that have been nicely restored. Two of them are Union Pacific E8A 942 (ex-METX 510; ex-RTA 501; ex-CNW 510; née-UP 942) and Southern Pacific U25BE 3100 (ex-SP 6800; ex-SP U25B 6708; née-SP 7508). Both of these locomotives not only look great, but they are also operable, often pulling passenger trains at the museum. (Perris, California – December 18, 2020).
