Remarks & Notes

This location was made famous in recent years for steam running hard up the steepest part of the Missionary Ridge on the Belt Line. Today steam has taken the back seat for diesels, seen here TVRM train Nº 225 is making a run up hill as the train gets off the Belt-line heading east at sunset. The dinner train is heading back to Grand Junction to end the first schedule of the Dinner Train of the evening. Once arriving at Grand Junction passenger will de-train, and the crew will get ready for the 8:15pm schedule run back toward the Belt Line.
