On the morning of August 3rd, 2021, Amtrak's Phase VI 50th Anniversary P42DC #108, leads Empire Service train 281 north through Manitou, NY on Metro-North's Hudson Line. The Bear Mountain Bridge can be seen in the background. 108 is one of six 50th Anniversary Commemorative Painted locomotives which features all new, one-of-a-kind paint schemes. It wears the first adaptation of the latest Amtrak livery phase with the “Connecting America for 50 Years” slogan on each side.
