| "New Third Ave Bridge in Mount Vernon"
Metro-North Railroad train 6506 ducks under the recently completed Third Avenue Overpass in downtown Mount Vernon, NY as it heads east up the New Haven Line on the morning of August 15th, 2021. The new overpass replaces the original 121-year old span and features MTA Arts & Design sculptural artwork integrated into the fencing as well as other attributes not present in the previous structure. Three other nearby overpasses (14th, 6th & 10th Avenues) were included in this project but were completely on earlier dates.
