ALCO Safari Day 5, LA&L: Looking more like the rural midwest, than upstate New York, LA&L's road train comes past Howlett Farms, just outside one of the railroad's namesake cities, Avon. In just a few miles, the train will stop to service the large Barilla USA pasta facility with the 20 or so flour loads on the head end.
