Pole Change. Before pantographs most trolley cars had poles on each end, and the pole on the opposite end was raised for power. On August 24, 2014, a visitor at the Shore Line Trolley Museum assists in the long time ritual of changing ends on former Connecticut Company Car 775 in Short Beach, Branford, Connecticut.
