For Labor Day, The Hardest Working Guy On The Railroad? This Thomas The Tank Engine is not a toy, but an actual steam engine. Built as Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal #15 (0-6-0T, H. K. Porter Company, 3/1917), it is flexing its horsepower by pulling seven coaches and a caboose towards Ebenshade Road in Ronks, Pennsylvania at the Strasburg Rail Road on Sunday, September 15, 2019. The Thomas at Strasburg Rail Road was also the star of the movie "Thomas and the Magic Railroad". Thomas has brought not only a new generation of railfans to the hobby and the industry, but passengers and income to museums operating "his" likeness.
