Remarks & Notes
The first train to be called out of Ash Fork in nearly 20 years in the Willow Springs, IL to Phoenix, AZ Z-train. Prior to this date, crews would operate from Phoenix to Winslow; nearly 300 mile run. In January 2021, BNSF reverted back to the Santa Fe crew district of Phoenix to Ash Fork to Winslow runs. With a fresh Phoenix crew onboard, BNSF 6998 hustles out of town with almost 7,000 ft of UPS/LTL intermodal cargo.
