Under heavy rains from the remnants of Hurricane Ida, CSX ES44AC No. 903 passes the westbound signals at the W.E. Babe Siding, protected by a pair of C&O mast signals and a single dwarf on a siding that is now largely out of service. In addition to its massive 220-car consist, the train is featuring four ammonium nitrate loads on the head-end. 'AN' is a chemical used as a blasting agent for coal mining operations out of Logan. Briefly, this 224-car train resembles that of a mixed freight instead of a consistent string of coal empties.
For the train and storm chaser. Trains with thunderstorms, dark clouds, rain, lightning, hurricanes - tropical storms, funnel clouds, storm light, rainbows, and snow storms.
