Sunsetting View at Sunset Seat. As Coaster/North County Transit District (NCTD) Train 661 (NCTC 5001, Siemens SC-44 leading) crosses the cliffs of Sunset Seat in Del Mar, California on the evening of Friday, September 17, 2021, the sun provides the right late summer light. Construction has begun to stabilize the cliffs due to erosion and shifting earth, which will obscure this view of the Pacific Ocean in the future.
