Spending the night in Union Pacific’s West Anaheim yard is SD70Ace-T4 3028 and ET44AC 2709. These two engines, each among the UP’s newest, brought a freight here from UP’s West Colton yard, and in the morning they will depart with another freight bound for West Colton once again. The strips of blue tape on some of the hood doors are a bit of a mystery, though. New tennis courts in a park across the street now provide some nice lighting in the evenings! A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
