Oak Island Visitors. On November 28, 2018 former Morristown and Erie Railway Alco C424 18 sits at Conrail Shared Assets Oak Island Yard in Newark, New Jersey. The engine had ben recently sold by the M&E to the Illinois Railway Museum, where it resides today. Webb Rail's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) sits on the adjoining track, awaiting the rest of the consist that will join it to participate in the Capital Region Toys for Tots train. Sadly, 2018 would be the last year that train would operate, but the work of Toys For Tots still carries on today.
