BNSF Railway train Q-NSABAR6-20, a Guaranteed Service Intermodal train operating from Norfolk Southern’s Ashland Avenue Yard in Chicago, Illinois, to Barstow, California, has arrived at the east end of the railway’s Barstow Yard not long after sunrise. The train will sit here for 45 minutes before cutting the power off and sending it into the yard’s diesel service area. Canadian Pacific SD70ACU 6644, originally CP SD90MAC 9160, leads the train, and is teamed with BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4150 and ES44C4s 6754 and 5543. CP 6644 wears the camouflage colors applied to Royal Canadian Air Force "Spitfire" fighter planes flown at the Allied invasion of Normandy, France, on June 6, 1944.
