HHP Acela?! Yes, when delivered the HHP locomotives were going to be used on Acela Regional service alongside the Acela Express trains and service. Plans were never executed to brand commuter and long distance services under the same umbrella, and Acela Regional was shortened to "Regional" (today's Northeast Regional), as there was some confusion among customers. The remnants of that logo was highly visible in the right light, with these locomotives being in stored out of service after being replaced by newer ACS-64s.
