Out for a late-summer stroll. In the pretty light of a late August afternoon, RGS Motor #5 glides down the 4% grade just below Cumbres Pass, approaching the Highway 17 crossing at Coxo, Colorado (MP 332.75). In the background, the warm sun shines on Windy Point, with some beautiful Colorado Cumulus building above. This image was captured during the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad's 2016 "Narrow Gauge Rendezvous" event, which featured numerous special photo trains powered by D&RGW Locomotives #315 and 463, as well as appearances by RGS Motor #5 from Dolores, CO and RGS Motor #7, visiting from the Colorado Railroad Museum.
