Station Stop Saratoga Springs. On Sunday, December 6, 2015, Amtrak P42DC 42 (Salutes Our Veterans) leads the Capital Region Toys for Tots train, shown at the station in Saratoga Springs, New York. While toys, clothes, and other gifts would be distributed at all of the stops during the day, Saratoga Springs was always where the "kickoff" ceremony was held, with speeches and a presentation of the colors.
