General Electric U26 C # 9311 (Class 93, built in 1977) of the Kenya Railways is entering Longonot with a freight from Nairobi towards Naivasha (probably Uganda), while the "Berkshire" 2-8-4 # 3020 "NYATURU" srteamlocomotive of the Nairobi Railway Museum is waiting for the crossing. The steamtrain ran from Naivahsa to Nairobi this day for Geoff's Trains/Tanago. This was the only freight train we saw on the line this day.
