Pick Up And Go. On Monday, November 15, 2021, one of the two former Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Electric MU cars at the former Croton North Station was loaded by Bay Crane Companies on to dolly wheels for the trip to SMS Lines in Bridgeport, New Jersey. The other car would follow about a month later. Crews from SMS had carefuly removed all of the interior fixtures in the days prior to departure. While it is unclear what the ultimate plan for these cars is, it is apparent that there is a significant amount of passenger equipment being gathered at SMS's yard.
