Remarks & Notes
On December 14th the California Zephyr left Denver's Union Station only to be stopped at Rocky, Colorado due to sustained 70-100mph winds. The winds were the byproduct of a massive cold front that swept through the Front Range. In the distance you can see huge clouds of dust and debris being kicked up. Eventually the Amtrak train would reverse back to Denver and wait for another 8 hours before heading west.
