The Beer Railroad: Digging through old photos, it seems that in my youth, I spent lots of time at the "Manny", which was owned by the Anheuser-Busch brewery in South St. Louis. MRS was a neat little industrial operation with a rich history. Showcasing the odd way the MRS yard was laid out, MP15DC #252 switches a few grain loads in the lower yard, no doubt going to the brewery malt house later. The bridge overhead is actually the MRS lead to the underground beer loading docks for the brewery. The St. Louis Arch can also be spotted in the background.
