| Nicknamed the “Mainline of Mid-America”, the former IC mainline from Chicago to New Orleans is no stranger to Illinois Central motors still putting in hours long after CNs acquisition. Here in Paxton, two trains meet, both with their own respective IC SD70 leader… a scene all too common some 20-25 years ago. |
