Oh No, Bees! MTA NYCT Subway R-68/R-68As layover for the weekend and longer, as seen at sunset on Saturday, January 8, 2022. The B Line has been temporarily suspended due to crew shortages, leading to a large number of them sitting in Concourse Yard in the Bronx, New York. This facility also services the D Line, which can and will use these cars in rotation, but it's fun to see 6 Bs in a row as long as you are not allergic. The flyover track leads to the IRT Jerome Avenue Line, and the Kingsbridge Armory is in the background.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
