The Business End. NJ Transit "Hoboken Extra 4105" was out dropping welded rail on the Pascack Valley Line on Saturday, February 5, 2022. While the 3 GP40s of various variety on the west end of the train attracted most of the attention, the east end was were the work was taking place. Looking just to the right of the friendly wave from an MOW crew member on CWRX (CWR Transportation Company) 306 and once can see where the CWR (Continously Welded Rail) comes off the racks to be placed trackside until needed. The classic 1890 New Jersey and New York Railroad station at Oradell, New Jersey is one of the classic surviving structures on the line. Purchased by the borough in 1966, it has been listed in the state and federal registers of historic places since 1984 to protect its future.
