Two of Amtrak's new Siemens ALC-42s arrive at the St Cloud station for a crew change and passenger stop before continuing the second half of their maiden voyage.
This was the first revenue run of the long-distance chargers, and it was not without a few flaws. PTC issues, a fire onboard one of the Superliners, and a collision with a vehicle all plagued the maiden run.
Still, despite being over 9 hours late, the ALC42s and their P42DC counterparts carried on and continued the trip.
