Mountains And Millie. On the night of Friday, February 18, 2022, East Broad Top Railroad 12 (2-8-2, Baldwin), made an appearance on the turntable for the night photo shoot at the 2022 Winter Spectacular. The engine was named "Millie" for Millie (Kovalchick) Glinsky, who returned on August 13, 2020 as part of the 60th Anniversary of EBT tourist operations and broke a ceremonial bottle of ginger ale over the plow. Theatrical smoke was added to enhance the scene as the bituminous coal in the foreground is not yet used for the EBT's engines, which are under restoration. EBT M-6 sits next to the roundhouse as a pair of employees prepare to turn the engine.
