Remarks & Notes
The Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range was known for its short wooden cabooses, as well as being the first or one of the first railroads to acquire wide vision cupola cabooses in 1952. They ran behind steam until 1960. However, two were converted to bay window, C-204 and C-205. The C-205 is now at the Lake Superior Transportation Museum and is operated by the North Shore Scenic Railroad.
