Remarks & Notes

Amtrak's North Coast Hiawatha switched power at Minneapolis in its early years of operation. In March 1973, BN power was removed here and MILW E9s applied. PC E8s also made appearances. Nearly 2 years into Amtrak operations the train was still a rainbow of equipment including the locomotives. Milwaukee's power was pretty beat up looking by 1973.
