Donner. On July 26, 2020, Webb Rail's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built dome/coach 549 (WEBX 801045) passed through Soda Springs, California while holding the markers on Amtrak Train 6 (California Zephyr). With Donner Summit ahead, the train is traversing some of the most scenic views available on rails on the way to Donner Pass. The route was originally built by the Central Pacific Railroad, which would later become part of the Southern Pacific, then Union Pacific Railroad.
