Remarks & Notes

In front of the Michigan Central station, NYC green E-8A 4053 waited at the west end of the platforms along with a green E-8B. A total of three units, two E-8's 4053 and 4083 and one E-8B 4107, received the jade green paint scheme during the transition from lightning strips to solid gray with a white band. Photo by D.
