| "Elmont Overpass Installation"
Just after 0215 hours on March 20th, 2022, the Elmont Station Pedestrian Overpass glides over the Long Island Rail Road Main Line during the beginning of its rapid installation process. Crews had a small window of only two hours to lift the overpass structure and secure it into place before Hempstead Branch service resumed that morning. The overpass will connect UBS Arena patrons with westbound Main Line service towards Jamaica and Penn Station.
